How do you know when it’s a good time to meditate?
Answer….when you think you don’t have enough time in the day to get all the things you want to get done.
When you find yourself saying things like:
“There’s not enough time in the day.”
“I have so much to do.”
“I’m too busy to meditate.”
When you notice that feeling of time scarcity in your nervous system it’s time to meditate.
If you really can’t do it right away, you can try the strategy Matt Crowther uses.
He promises himself that he will pause and meditate within the next 60 minutes.
Studies have shown that meditation for as little as 10 minutes increases productivity by 500%!
Why is that? One reason is that you are literally slowing your brain waves down from beta waves to gamma waves. Your brain waves go from high-alert focused on the external world….to calm, centered and in flow.
Time slows down.
You think more clearly.
You metaphorically rise above the clouds and see things from an elevated perspective.
You get more done with less time and energy.
You feel calm, centered and at peace.
You remember what’s really important and focus on what matters most.
“If you don’t have twenty minutes to delve into your self through meditation, then that means you need two hours.” – Russell Simmons
